"Free home visit" can sound like code for a two-hour sales pitch. Ours is not that. It is a working visit: we look at your home, listen to what you want it to do, and leave you with a clear written plan. Here is the whole thing, step by step.
1. We listen first
Every visit starts with a conversation, not a clipboard. What is bothering you? Packages going missing, a hallway that is always too hot, lights you wish turned themselves off? The best smart home plan starts from your daily life, not from a catalog.
2. We walk the property with you
Then we look at the actual house: where cameras would see entries and blind spots, where the thermostat sits, how the Wi-Fi reaches the far rooms, where the doorbell wiring is. We are checking what is possible and what needs attention — like a dead Wi-Fi corner that would make any new device unreliable.
3. We tell you straight what fits
This is the part people appreciate most. If something you asked about is overkill for your home, we say so. If a cheaper option does the job, we recommend the cheaper option. We would rather earn a customer for life than sell one extra device today.
4. You get a written quote
Before we leave, you get a written quote: what we recommend, what each part does, and what the installation involves. No vague numbers, no "we will see once we start." Take your time deciding — the quote does not expire while you think it over.
What to have ready
- Nothing, honestly. But it helps if you know your Wi-Fi password and have a rough idea of what you want to achieve.
- Show us the trouble spots. The room with no signal, the dark side yard, the thermostat everyone fights over.
- Ask anything. There are no silly questions. We explain everything in plain language.
Where we visit
We are based in Escondido and visit homes across North County — San Marcos, Vista, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Valley Center, and nearby communities. Visits run Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday mornings.
